Metro Swimmers Obtain National Times
A small contingent of swimmers attended the City of Sheffield Premier Meet at Ponds Forge on the 27/28th of March and also the Derventio Meet on the 11/12th of April. These are both tough galas as swimmers are trying to attain National times. However two swimmers from Metro met the challenge. Dale Waterhouse obtained a time of 54.81 in the 100 metres free at the Sheffield Meet and narrowly missed the 100 Breast time by only 0.09 seconds and the 200 IM time by just 0.03 seconds. Well Done Dale. Daniel Mclean also achieved his national times at the Derventio Meet, he swam the 50 metres Free in 25.48 and the 100 metres Free in 55.57. Well Done Danny.
