Graded Gala January 2009 Report
Rotherham Metro’s first A & B graded gala of the year took place at the weekend at Ponds Forge. Despite the timing pads in the pool failing to function for part of the meet, it was still a very successful gala for the club. Holly Sotheran (see photo) achieved the top girl award and Adam Parkes just missed out on the top boy award, due to him being too fast for one of his events, thereby gaining a speeding ticket instead of a medal. Top club and top boy award was awarded to the Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe club.
